February Fundraising: Amur Leopard: critically endangered

We started fundraising for threatened species in December of 2023. Although it may seem like an insignificant impact, it is important work that should not be underestimated.
I love homeschooling for the possibilities to put our efforts into areas we might not be able to otherwise.
If I had a full time job, I would not be able to put as much time into fundraising with my kids as I have so far. We only have so much energy in a day. I am GRATEFUL for the opportunity to teach my kids about threatened species, but also teach myself as we do endless hours of research together for our PROJECT BASED + DO GOOD FOR OTHERS learning.
There are so many ways to learn. Homeschooling offers boundless opportunities to get creative and simultaneously teach caring and kind compassion. We hope to inspire others to put yourself out there and do good for someone or something in need. Your efforts are not in vain. Every effort is worth something even though it may not be tangible, and the values we learn along the way are irreplaceable.
Fundraising is SO much more than the money we raise for these sentient beings.
FUNDRAISING IS ABOUT:
- Raising kind and caring stewards of our precious earth.
- Raising our awareness as a family of little every day choices we can make to help.
- Instilling faith in humanity that if we all work together in unison we can do great things.
- Letting love guide us and giving back to those who have greater needs than ourselves.
- Teaching children the power of having a philanthropic spirit; fruit of the spirit.
- Teaching children that we are not entitled to the things we have, but rather it is an honor and a privilege to have what we have
- Instilling GRATITUDE for life's simplicities, and being fulfilled in ourselves just as we are.
- Following the child's love of animals, nature, play and exploration

Fundraising
Each month we will choose a charitable organization that holds a special place in our hearts and aligns with our passions and values and donate a portion of our sales to that organization.
December 2023:Our children ages 10 and 7 raised money for endangered species through WWF. Specifically the Snow Leopard and African Lion.
Results: Through this website, family, friends and a local pop-up market we were part of, my kids raised $47.50 each for their chosen animal!
January 2024: We continue our fundraising efforts for these two endangered species as we continue our Endangered Species Animal Reports through the end of January.

We love animals and so we are partnering with WWF (World Wildlife Fund) to raise money for their endangered animals and conservation efforts.
Fundraising in December
at the end of January we are generously donating 50% of all sales from December AND January to go to WWF. An organization which aligns with our passions and values. The other 50% will be split between savings and back into our small business to raise even more money for those in need for future fundraising.
The World Wildlife Fund spearheads conservation efforts around the globe where the need is greatest.
My son is raising money for Snow Leopards and my daughter is raising money for African Lions.
The Snow Leopard is classified as Vulnerable (IUCN Red List of Threatened Species)
The African Lion is classified as Endangered (IUCN Red List of Threatened Species)
